ABOUT
Rooted in the warmth of the South and refined by the rhythm of city life, my work bridges the worlds of art, fashion, and interior design. Growing up in south Georgia taught me to appreciate comfort, color, and storytelling—elements that continue to shape how I see and create while remembering to not only trust but to enjoy the process. Now based in Chicago, I bring that southern sensibility to a metropolitan canvas, where texture and luxury meet movement and emotion.
As an interior designer, I view every space—and every canvas—as an opportunity to compose balance and beauty. The same principles that guide a room’s harmony guide my brush: proportion, rhythm, and the perfect tension between bold and serene. My paintings often begin as layered studies in texture and tone, evolving into abstract compositions that evoke the softness of fabric, the gleam of metal, and the pulse of the city itself.
Inspired by the elegance of high fashion and the craftsmanship of interiors, I use acrylics to express a tactile form of luxury—one that feels both grounded and aspirational. Metallic accents glimmer like statement jewelry; deep hues anchor the work in emotion. Each piece tells a story of transformation: a southern girl redefining her roots in the city, blending tradition with modern sophistication, and finding beauty in the contrast between where she’s from and where she’s going.
